Allen Drilling & IKE Concrete (719) 836-2672
A division of Allen Drilling & Excavating Co., Inc. · Since 1965

Sixty years of good water and solid ground in Park County.

Allen Drilling drills the well. IKE Concrete pours the foundation. One yard on US 285. One phone number. The same family the high country has trusted for six decades.

The yard on US 285

One family. Two trades.
Sixty years in the high country.

Jack Allen and the Pederson family have been drilling water wells and pouring concrete out of the same yard on US Highway 285 since 1965. When you call, you reach the people who'll be on your property — not a call center.

From hard-rock domestic wells to ready-mix delivery for your foundation pour, the work is done by neighbors. The crew, the trucks, and the gear all live in the same town you do.

Local payroll

Park County jobs.

Every driver, every operator, every helper lives in Fairplay or the surrounding South Park towns. Sixty years of payroll and overtime have stayed local — spent at the local grocery, the local feed store, the local diner.

Always free

No-cost estimates.

We come out to your property, walk it, and write up the job — at no charge, no obligation, no upsell pressure. It's how we've earned our reputation in the high country since 1965.

Direct line

You reach Jack & Kim.

No phone tree. No call center. When the phone rings at 651 US 285, it's the family that picks up. The same name on the truck is the same name on the contract.

NGWA member

Industry standards.

We hold an active membership in the National Ground Water Association — the professional body that sets training, safety, and water-quality standards for the well-drilling trade nationwide.

Cradle to cap

One job, start to finish.

From drilling the well to pouring the foundation that sits next to it — the same family runs the work. No subbing it out to a stranger you've never met. No coordination headaches.

High-country expertise

Built for 10,000 feet.

Drilling in South Park isn't drilling at sea level. Hard rock, frozen ground, narrow access, and Colorado's permitting code have shaped sixty years of practical experience. We know what works at altitude because we've done it here.

Have a project, or just want to talk through one?

Frequently asked

Straight answers on common questions.

Most domestic wells in Park County run from one to three days of active drilling, depending on depth and how much hard rock we hit. After that there's casing and grouting before the well is ready to be tied in.
Yes — every well in Colorado requires a permit from the Division of Water Resources before drilling begins. We handle the application as part of the job and make sure your well is permitted to the correct use class.
For ready-mix delivery, give us a few days' notice during the season and a week or more during the busy stretch from late spring to early fall. Same-day service is sometimes possible for small loads — call and ask.
We focus our service on Fairplay and the surrounding South Park communities to keep response times short. Larger jobs further out get evaluated case-by-case — call and we'll talk through it.
Free. Always. We'll come out, walk the property, and write you a firm number with no obligation.
